Beau Ferrari is Executive Vice President of Operations for Univision Networks at Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In this capacity, he has responsibility for operations and helping to manage the growth and profitability of Univision's content offerings, including Univision Network, TeleFutura Network, and Univision Cable Networks, which includes Galavisión and a suite of new cable networks - De Película, De Película Cisco, Bandamax, Ritmoson, Telehit and Clsco TV.

David L. Day

Vice Chair

David L. Day is the Assistant Vice President and Director of the Office of Technology Licensing and The Sid Martin Biotechnology Incubator at the University of Florida. He oversees the commercialization efforts of all UF technologies.  UF’s Office of Technology Licensing annually executes about 75 licenses and options and is involved in the creation of about 10 new startups based on UF technologies.  In the latest fiscal year, UF spinoffs raised more than $100 million of investment capital.  Mr.

John A. Fraser

Mr. Fraser is currently the Assistant Vice President for Research & Economic Development and Executive Director, IP Development & Commercialization, Office of Research, at Florida State University.  Prior to that, he served as the Director of the University/Industry Liaison Office at Simon Fraser University.  He has held positions as Executive Vice President and co-founder of UTC, Inc.; President and CEO of UTI; Vice President of TDC, Inc.;  and President of Burnside Development.

Hal Valeche

Mr. Valeche attended Yale University and graduated with a BA in American Studies. Upon graduation Mr. Valeche entered the US Navy flight training program at Pensacola, Florida. On completion of training, he was assigned to Fighter Squadron 191 at NAS Miramar California. During this tour, he flew 85 combat missions in Vietnam, logged 230 carrier landings and received six awards of the Air Medal.

Rhys L. Williams

Mr. Williams is President of iTherapeutics, a biotechnology company developing therapies for retinal degenerative disease, which he co-founded with prominent faculty from Scripps Florida and the University of Miami (Bascom Palmer Eye Institute). Mr. Williams is also President of New World Angels, Inc., a member-managed angel investment group with chapters in Southeast Florida and Tampa Bay.
