Company Funding
The Institute provides equity financing to qualified Florida-based companies through its Florida Technology Seed Capital Fund. The investment-related affairs of the Institute are managed by Florida Funders, an investment firm that is headquartered in Tampa with a footprint throughout the state. Florida Funders oversees the Institute's portfolio of 60+ companies, and invests in early-stage innovation companies utilizing a hybrid approach to investing that includes a venture capital fund and a crowdfunding platform.
