Successful Series B Financing for Dominion Aesthetics Technologies Inc.

 

Dominion Aesthetics Inc., the developer of the EON Laser intelligent body contouring device, raised $23.7 million to accelerate the commercialization of EON. The touch-less system is unique in its class and does not rely on disposables or treatment applicators. CEO Cooper Collins stated, "There are very few opportunities to grow a company this rapidly" and, "None of this would be possible without our world-class investors and our experienced commercialization team." Portfolio Company HealthSnap Secured a $4 Million Investment

 

The investment in the Miami-based company was achieved in cooperation with our private fund manager Florida Funders. The funds will help the company to further pursue its mission of empowering people living with chronic disorders. HealthSnap is looking to accomplish this by tracking and analyzing lifestyle data, as well as maximizing patient engagement through their app.

Portfolio Company Chattr Raised $200k in Debt Equity

 

The company is trademarked by the Tampa-based entity Hire Humanly LLC and provides the leading AI-powered software for hiring hourly employees. The software aims to remove the typical frustrations of the hiring process and find the most talented employees. The company was also named Tampa Bay Tech 2020 "Emerging Tech Company of the Year" finalist. The annual award is given to the most progressive and forward-thinking tech leaders, companies, and projects in the Tampa Bay area.

Panbela Announces Research Agreement with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine

 

Panbela Therapeutics announced a research agreement with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine to collaborate on the continued development of their investigative agent SBP-101, a molecule to inhibit tumor growth. The research will be led by Prof. Robert Casero, an internationally recognized researcher in polyamine biology at the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center and an oncology professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
