Entrinsic Health Solutions and Nestlé Health Science Enter Global Partnership for Novel Amino Acid Product enterade®

 

Entrinsic Health Solutions (EHS), an innovative health sciences company, announced that they have entered into a partnership with Nestlé Health Science (NHSc), a global innovative leader pioneering premium-quality, science-based nutritional health solutions. The partnership gives NHSc the exclusive rights to market EHS’s enterade® product.
 
This partnership is structured as a worldwide commercial license and supply agreement for EHS’s electrolyte beverage using a patented combination of proprietary amino acids to help address hydration issues in patients with gastrointestinal (GI) issues related to cancer or chronic GI disease. EHS received early funding from the Institute in 2014. More information may be viewed here.

OB Medical® Now Part of the Philips Portfolio

This year Philips celebrates 50 years as a trusted partner in obstetric care. The acquisition of OBMedical technology aims to improve Patient Monitoring and will further strengthen Philips’ ability to provide high quality solutions in caring for laboring mothers and their babies. SharpSpring Named 2018 Tech Company of the Year by Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce

 

The Greater Gainesville Chamber annually honors businesses for their role in helping the region become the global hub of talent, innovation, and opportunity. Nominees stand out for excellence and innovation within business practices and community involvement. The 2018 Awards Celebration was held on November 15th, and marketing automation firm SharpSpring received top honors in the Tech Company category. SharpSpring received early funding from the Institute in 2012 and now occupies a new, 70,000 square foot office building which houses nearly 200 employees. More information may be view here.

South Florida Marine Research Hub Holds Annual Summit
at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

 

Investors, corporate partners and researchers participated at the Summit on November 1stto hear about world-class programs underway at South Florida’s four research universities, with projects ranging from reef restoration to biomedicine to fisheries and marine ecosystems. The Institute provides company building services, and seed funding through the Florida Technology Seed Capital Fund, to promising Florida startups. Seventy-two companies have been funded to date, and the Institute’s economic impact through June 30, 2018 was $1.4 billion, with an annual return on investment of 31 times to the State of Florida.
