IRIS Provides Innovative End-to-End Solution for Early Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy

Pensacola-based IRIS  provides a complete end-to-end diagnostic retinal imaging solution that helps physicians close care gaps and achieve 5-star performance. From intake to referral and billing, IRIS leverages evidence-based best practices to create a comprehensive program based on practice goals and needs to improve access and manage population care.
 
IRIS received initial funding from the Florida Institute in 2015, and today delivers a cloud-based diagnostic imaging solution and a workflow-based system integration that simplifies patient identification, examination, and reimbursement. With more than 250 different clinics integrated and more than 205,000 patient exams completed, the company has developed best practices that result in early detection and diagnosis of vision-threatening retinal pathologies including diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Tech and Innovation Summit Held at University of Central Florida

The James Madison Institute, the Florida Chamber Foundation , the Florida Technology Council  and the Center for Growth and Opportunity at Utah State University hosted the “2019 Tech and Innovation Summit- Moving Beyond the Possible” on September 25th, bringing together legislative, business, government and academic thought leaders to discuss Florida’s unique opportunity to lead the national conversation on technology and innovation, and global impacts of key sectors that will shape prosperity and quality of life for decades to come.

Senator Jeff Brandes  (R- District 24) and Representative Jamie Grant  (R- District 64) opened the Summit with an overview of the upcoming legislative session.
