The acquired Intellectual Property is based on the research by Distinguished Research Professor Dr. Herbert Weissbach, former Roche Executive, member of the National Academy of Sciences, and the Director of the Center for Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at FAU’s Jupiter campus. According to the studies conducted by Dr. Weissbach and his research team, cancer cells are selectively targeted and killed while normal healthy cells are protected. The age related studies have shown that by preconditioning cells, heart attack, stroke, and diseases such as Dry Macular Degeneration, a retina disease leading to blindness, can be mitigated.
