Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced two appointments and one reappointment to the Institute for the Commercialization of Public Research Board of Directors.
 
Manny Fernandez, 68, of Sanibel, is a general partner with SI Ventures. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning April 9, 2015, and ending November 3, 2015.
 
Renee Finley, 48, of Jacksonville, is the vice president of enterprise innovation for GuideWell. She succeeds John Fraser and is appointed for a term beginning April 9, 2015, and ending November 3, 2016.
 
Sherrick “Rick” Wassel, 49, of Orlando, is employed with the Florida Hospital and Florida Division of Adventist Health System as executive director and also the managing director of IQ Orlando, a new corporate partnership focused on development and growing Florida’s life science and health care cluster. He is reappointed for a term beginning April 9, 2015 and ending November 3, 2017.
